First of all, I have to thank you for all your sweet comments on my last Post! I would have never thought that so many of you join in the conversation of my hair problems! And now I have a lot more self-confidence with my natural orangeness...it's so nice to walk past a hairdresser and say "Pah, I don't need you anymore!" (sure, people look at you a little weird, but it still feels good) Now I only have to deal with those ugly (wash-out) blond ends, I probably just chop them off, my hair got a little long anyway. Or I just play fancy and call it Ombre-something

But enough of that hair talk! As you may have already seen in some of my pictures, I have a piano in my "new" home. It's not mine, it was already in the room and supposed to get banned into a wet basement before I move in, that made me very sad so I said it could stay and share this space with me and Asim (Asim doesn't like it by the way, he doesn't like anything that makes music to my pain) And since that day we moved in, it looks at me and says "you can't play me...ha,ha...you can't play me at all!!!" So I got myself one of these silly self-learning books and been practising since -I'm not very talented I think, but it's your luck that pictures can't be heard, right?

  1. Beautiful photos, as always. Your hair is just gorgeous! I hope you keep up practising the piano, there's nothing better than learning your first piece and being able to (finally) play it the entire way through - just make sure to practise when the boy is out of the house :)

    1. Oh, thanks Cat! Can I read between the lines here that you play the piano as well?? If so, any starter tips for me?? And yes, I will try to bother Asim with my practising as less as possible :)

  2. I always love your pictures, and now I seem to have a visual of Assim hiding his head under his paws as you learn piano...

    2. I dream of the day I have a house I can put a piano in! You should take lessons. I stopped playing for almost 10 years and then started again a little while ago, I started taking lessons again and the progress for me was far more substantial with a teacher than learning alone. :)

  7. You have such a beautiful blog! I love the photos!(: pianos are beautiful instruments...I often wish that I had kept up my lessons. One day perhaps I'll go back to it. Good luck with your playing!

  8. I love these photos, you look so pretty and so does your home! I've played the piano myself for over 10 years, but it's been 2 years since I've played I think... Such a shame! I just don't have the time to keep practicing, and every time I have a go at it again, I feel it's getting harder and harder... So keep practicing! You'll get there ;)

  10. I just discovered your blog and I'm immediately enraptured. I am very excited for you to have a piano in your home. In my dreams everyone has a piano! I grew up with a piano and that's why I love it and play it so much today, but I am constantly telling friends that I will teach anyone who wants me to, and it is never to late to learn. Everyone needs a little music in their everyday lives.

  19. I just came across your blog and I think it is so so lovely! ♥

I learned the piano when I was younger and I've always wished I kept it up... It's on my list of things to do someday when we have a bigger house with room for a little music corner!
