bohemian teeth.

Can you see that ambitious tooth trying to grow out of my mouth in the first photo? I have no idea where it wants to go, it's been poking out there all it's life. But the great thing of being the late child of a Hippie Mother is that you get told that crooked teeth or sticky-out ears (got a pair of that too btw) only make you look more beautiful. And that they respect your twelve year old opinion when the dentist says you should get braces to make that front teeth look more presentable. These pictures were taken in my mothers beautiful bedroom. Asim loves to lay on her bed, it's bigger and much more cosy than mine, even though he "officially" isn't allowed to. And I really love the big collection of old paintings and pictures my mother has on her walls, all around the apartment. She and my Aunt are my heroes when it come to interior design and the absolute queens of flea market and antique shopping! Actually my Mother recently complained that there's no picture on my blog that shows my crooked tooth...so here we go!

The room Asim and I are sharing for nearly two months now, starts to feel more warm and comfortable...more like a home. I'm guessing a big part of that comfort comes from the friendliness you spoiled me with over the last days. All your comments on my last post helped me focusing on the positive side of things, and it was very calming to read that so many of you once had the same problems that I do now. But I wasn't only supported with wonderful comments, I also got a blog award from Abigail Oliveros from ayvenart , thank you for that Abigail, it means a lot to me. And as if all that kindness wasn't enough, I found the sweetest surprise yesterday, the lovely Dulcie from Human Sea made a beautiful post about my blog. Human Sea is a wonderful place in this sometimes dull internetworld and I feel very honoured to find myself a little part of it now -thank you so much, dear Dulcie, your words were too kind.

We are currently recovering from a period of bad luck! Asim got into a fight with a boxer, that mad dog attacked
him out of the blue, for no reason at all, but Asim didn't got hurt except for a big shock and some long scratches on
his forehead. I got a few scratches to match them the next day, when I woke up from a nap with his paws in my
face (these claws hurt). And I don't know if you can tell, but I had to cut off 5 inches of my hair after I managed to
get them on fire when leaning over a candle (I never said I was the smart one). But those things didn't kept me away
from blogging, the long exhausting (still unsuccessful) search for a new home and the constant illness of my
computer did (I know this computer will die soon, but I'm trying to delay that until I can afford a new one).

Anyways, I missed the blog world very much, and it was such a sweet surprise to find so many lovely comments
and even some new people around here -thank you very much for being wonderful and sorry that I was not able to
answer as often and quickly as I would have liked!
I hope I will find a way to get things back to normal soon.

I'm sorry for being absent for so long, I was bedridden by a fever that just seemed to stay in my body for ever.
Everything I remember is constantly waking up confused from heavy sleep, checking the news to see if the images
in my head could just be fever-nightmares or if these horrible things are really happening out there -and every time
the TV told me that it was the disastrous truth. It all felt very surreal. And it still does, even now, being fever-free,
I still have a problem getting back to normal -as a matter of fact, it is the normality that feels the weirdest to me
right now. Doing normal things on an average day just seems strange at a time like this…but maybe that's "normal",
maybe the world just feels different at the moment.

Hope you're all well!
And I hope to blog more frequently from now on.

I don't really know if I like January, not particularly this January, just the month in general. People are wishing me
a happy new year, a good start, but everything around me looks like a big leftover plate, Christmas leftovers, New
Years Eve leftovers...even the snow looks like it passed it's due date.
