I'll stick to watching horror movies all night long. I must say, I love your sense of aesthitics, I find your photos very haunting and beautiful, and your dress style so compelling. These pics, for instance, they make me think of Jane Austen, of Lizzie Bennet... it's like I'm watching stills from a VERY GOOD britt period drama!!! I love your blog, really. http://fashionfauxpas-mintjulep.blogspot.com
such victorian looking photos! (just to agree with the person above). halloween was last night here, (just cause we're a day ahead, nto cause we changed the day or anything stupid) and I was sound asleep by 10pm hehe though it's not really a big thing here, no trick or treaters running around our cities. There was a party on and I so wanted to dress up. But bed was so comfy when I got home from work and I was so tired. I wanted to go as Clara Bow. Oh well, we will just have to have a random dress up party some time soon. Yay for Horror movie marathons though!
You won't believe it -- watching two versions of Wuthering Heights in comparison ("Stürmische Leidenschaft" feat. Juliette Binoche, 1992, and the 1970 Timothy Dalton whcih inspired Kate Bush) and rereading a few favorite bits from the book.
And watching the Kate Bush "Red Dress" version. Believe me, that's scary enough :)
I can't believe it! ;) Did you see the version from 1939 with Laurence Olivier?...just to complete the study! How come your sudden interest in Emily Bronte's Classic?
I have a distant memory to Laurence Olivier: probably I have seen this one in a former life between my parents on their couch. You're right: I should complete my studies with it.
I have an old interest in the Brontës' classics. My inner Briton always loved the stories and atmosphere. It's strange enough to be interesting, and familiar enough to be like home. And I have a faible for those girlish bonnet films ;)
No cruelty to the Commendable Ms. Bush. Her Wuthering Heights set standards -- and making a fool of oneself is a human right ;) Only half-kidding, I deeply respect her. Guckst du alte Artikel? -- :
Your last two outfit posts have left me *obsessed* with Edwardian riding jackets! I need to find a fitted blazer with a bustle--one part Wuthering Heights, one part Downton Abbey.

Random dress up parties are always the best! And Clara Bow is a great choice for a costume...I think I might steal that Idea from you one day!
