avec une couronne de marguerites.

Congratulations, Dear Reader, you're viewing the longest Post in Blog Posting history!! I'm very sorry for the overwhelming amount of pictures in this one, but some stories need a few more words...or in this case photos, to be told.

At least you can take away a little tip with this post: if you ever make yourself a crown of flowers (is it called like that in english?), don't throw them away, take them home with you and lay them in a little bath on big plate, they will help you carry your memories for a few days longer.

PS I don't want to make an advertisement for bottled water or any kind of brand with this pictures, but sometimes you forget your water bottles at home, and then you and your dog get thirsty and you have to buy way overpriced water at a very weird tourist shop, you know? :(

pardon me.

Somehow I feel like I owe you an apology...see my guilty look up there⇧ I received some very lovely comments recently, but bad allergy and migraine attacks, several dog ticks, and a very wacky Internet connection kept me from answering them. If you left me a question in the comments or wrote me a mail, I'll answer them now, just in case you're still interested! Thank you again for all your kind words, I cherish them very much!!

disposable.

Some people are living a glamorous life...not me of course, but at least people near and dear to me. Those dear people spend a night in a fancy hotel suite, and even thought of me while they were drowning in luxury! I got gifted (or should I say stolen) a Ritz Carlton disposable camera (sadly they kept the fluffy bathrobes for themselves). Somehow I can never wait to use new things, so I shot the whole film right away in one day. Maybe you remember me holding the little creme colored beauty in my hands in this post, and now you can see the results -if you wanna see the whole film I shot just check my flickr set here.

Note: picture #2 and #7 were not taken by me! #2 taken by my Mother #7 taken by an old man I met that day

sitting on dogs in the sunshine.

I hope you are enjoying the spring weather as much as Asim and I do...if not, try walking barefoot over a blooming meadow, you will start smiling instantly, I swear! These pics were not taken by me, they were shot by my sweet Mother (HI MAMA) today, and they show perfectly that as soon a girl goes for a walk with her mother she acts like a little kid again!! And before some of you ask, I'M NOT PREGNANT, that's just the wind creating a baby belly under my dress! The little creme coloured camera I am holding in my hands on these photos is a disposable model I got as a present this morning -I tell you the story about that little thing when the pictures are developed...let's hope they turn out ok!

PS Oh, and please tell my mother she's a great photographer as I know she's reading this :-)

PPS Have you seen that the beautiful Aline Aimée form Little Doll House dedicated a post to my blog? Thank you Aline!

So I know I'm teeny tiny in these pics, but I still feel like I have to apologies for the glowing orange that shines from my head. After colouring and bleaching my hair for ten years now…yeah, ten years (that either means I started too young or I'm already very old -I leave that up to you! ) I decided to go back to my natural roots, not because I think orange is a lovely colour (I never really liked my natural carrots hair) but because I'm slowly trying to cut down on chemical products in my life. For a long while the films in my camera were very friendly to my outgrowing roots and always showed my hair much more presentable as it was, but now BANG I'm a Kobold. Well, I guess I have to embrace the orange now...or get photoshop for colour correcting!

By the way, I have a little question to the Ladies reading my blog -did any of you made the same discovery, that as your natural hair is growing out, it changes into a more intensive colour over time?? I think it's weird that without me doing anything, my colour still seems to evolve…maybe because of the long bleaching or because I still used blue shampoo for a long while because I had tons left of it?? -I don't know, thought maybe a few of you lovely girls could tell me when that effect will stop.

And for the men that are now bored we can discuss if it is called soccer or football...just to stick to the cliche.

first signs of a new season.

...the first warm rays of sunshine inspired me to experiment a bit with light and shadow.

And perfectly fitting to that early spring sunshine, the lovely Polly from Passer Domesticus (an adorable blog, by the way) gave me the sunshine award -thank you, dear Polly! I'm getting a lot of internet love at the moment, and I'm very thankful for that.

I know that these awards always have strict rules, questions to answer and so on, but I'm not a "tag" person, and I certainly don't like to follow rules (Oh, I'm such a rebel!!!), but I do like that they always request to mention some other lovely poeple in the blog world. So I'll only take that one part of the game and name 5 wonderful blogs off my personal reading list...just like that, without any awards or rules, if you pardon me.

Here we go:
u mnie (which is a tumblr not a blogspot, but hey, no rules, right?), unexpected behaviour of light, Alexandria Daniels, Cinnamon Girl (yummy!!..I adore good baking blogs, let me know if you have any recommendations!), and last but not least James H Duncan , who is not a photographer, but a wonderful Writer and Poet.
