  3. While the dress isn't vintage, it seems like something that you'll treasure forever...making it the perfect "new" purchase. I love buying things that I think will one day make great vintage pieces for my grandchildren. And while I'm glad you shared the designer of this gown, I never mind you not listing exactly what you are wearing. Your blog seems like a beautiful story and that would only detract from the visual feast. As far as the stroll in the park goes, I agree with you completely. Going to such crowded places, especially when taking your own pictures, is usually pretty daunting. But so many beautiful tress lining the sidewalks perfectly? It's too hard to resist this time of year.

    1. Thank you very much for your thoughtful comment, Ashlyn! It's exactly my opinion that it wouldn't fit to my blog to label everything for every single post -Specially as this blog is not mainly about fashion, but about me telling stories...just as you said. I will leave the labeling to a few special posts whenever I want to share my love for a certain designer or shop.

I'm glad you're enjoying my stories!

    1. Oh, thank you Kristin! I think it's just not my style to label everything from now on, BUT I believe it will be a good Idea if I mention whenever I wear very special pieces from a designer or a vintage shop (I have a lot of vintage online stores I adore)...or maybe I do an own separate post about my favorite vintage shops every once in a while....something like that! What do you think?

  5. The jacket and the skirt are gorgeous and lovely, but they did remind me more of Oliver Twist than Elvgren or Astaire, eheh, I dunno, maybe is the Mary Poppins boots that I love soooo much!!

    1. Ha, ha, true thing said!! But I was just trying to explain Lena Hoscheks designs in general, they are something between those two things, you know? But little me will always look more like Oliver Twist than both of these examples, no matter what I wear....I generally get told a lot that my pictures remind people of children's books and their characters -I always take that as a compliment ;)

  7. Margeurite you are SUCH a beauty! And I believe that my love of vintage clothes has made me fussier (in a good way!) about what modern clothes I buy because I want them to have the same quality of material and design that the more unique and luxurious vintage pieces have. So unfortunately this causes me to have very expensive taste! haha! xxx

    1. You are so right, Dulcie! Buying vintage for such a long time had the same effect on me, your standards grow with every single piece. I learned that only a few purchases with the same quality standarts (and usually a high price tag ha, ha) every once in a while are the only way for me to enjoy modern clothes...and in between those rare purchases I stay fussy and buy my old grandma clothes ;)
